Eligibility Criteria:
IBPS SO eligibility criteria includes three parameters that are nationality, age limit, and educational qualification. One who wants to apply for SO needs to meet these eligibility criteria.
1. IBPS SO Nationality Criteria:
A candidate willing to apply for SO must be from the following categories-
- A Citizen of India or
- A Citizen of Nepal or
- A subject of Bhutan or
- A Tibetan Refugee living in India before 1st January 1962
2. IBPS SO Age Criteria:
The age limit for the Specialist Officer post is 20-30 years.
A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-11-1991 and not later than 01-11-2001.
3. Educatinal Qualification:
IBPS recruits for various posts like Agriculture Field Officer, IT Officer, HR Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari, Marketing Officer, and Law Officer. The educational qualifications for all these posts are different. Applicant must have completed the education from University or Institution or Board approved by the Government of India.
