e Shram Card Online Registration, e-SHRAM Portal was started by the Ministry of Labour and Employment India. PM Narendra Modi started the e-shram portal on 26 August 2021. E shram Portal scheme is also known as Shramik Registration Online. This scheme is specially designed for the welfare of workers in India. After the e Shram Card Online Registration individuals will get a Unique Identification Number (UAN) card. This e–shram card will be given to about 38 crore workers in the unorganized sector, and this card will be valid across the country.
The Central Government has launched the E-Shramik Portal for the workers of the unorganized sector. Creating more job opportunities for the workers is the main motive of e Shram Card Online Registration scheme. After the CSC NDUW e Shram Card Online registration UP Bihar, MP, and Karnataka, candidates can get jobs in the Future. E-Shram portal was launched to collect the data of workers in unorganized sectors. To start new policies NDUW Database will be used.
E Shram Card Online Registration Portal is used to collect and track all the information and data about laborers and workers of the unorganized sector. Collected data will be used to launch new schemes, for making new policies, to create more job opportunities for Unorganized Sector Workers and Laborers. Construction workers, migrant workforce, street vendors, and domestic workers can register for this scheme through the portal.
After registration on this portal, workers will not need to register again and again to take advantage of the social security scheme of the Government of India. With this enterprise of the Indian Government, crores of unorganized workers of the country will get a new identity. Candidates who want to apply for e Shram Card Online Registration can apply for CSC Seva Kendra. Self-registration can be also made by Candidates on the e-Shramik Card portal using a mobile number linked with Aadhar Card.

Steps required for the e Shram Card Online Self Registration are as follows-
Step 1: Visit the E-Shram scheme official portal
Step 2: Check out the home page details and go for Self Registration
Step 3: Enter Your Aadhar Linked Mobile Number
Step 4: Fill in Captcha Code
Step 5: Click on the Yes / No option for EPFO and ESIC
Step 6: Click on Send OTP button
Step 7: Fill in OTP and click on submit button
Step 8: Fill in up all the details on the displayed Application Form
Step 9: Upload all required documents
Step 10: Click on submit button and Take a printout of the e Shram Card Online Registration application form for future use
e Shram Card Online Registration Application Fee:
No application fee will be charged for applying for e-shram card registration. But if you register after updating any kind of data in the UAN card, then you will have to pay Rs 20.
About NDUW e-Shram Card:
NDUW is the National Database of Uncategorized Workers. Ministry of Labor and Employment is organizing a national database of Unorganized Workers NDUW. For developing, policies and programs for unorganized workers NDUW database will help the government. Under the NDUW scheme, the e shram portal has been created and the UAN Card scheme has been launched.
Unorganized workers will get the benefit of social security and welfare schemes. Through NDUW Central Government will monitor the movement of workers from the informal sector to the formal sector. And according to this observation, workers will be provided with suitable work employment.️ Through this process, more employment opportunities will be delivered to the migrant labor workforce.
Workers can apply online for the registration of the NDUV. Every UW (Uncategorized Work) will be issued an identity card which will be a unique identification number, which will go where the UAN card, NDUW card, e shram card online registration will go.
About UAN Card Scheme:
The objective of UAN Card Yojana is to collect the data of the workers of every unorganized sector. Through the UAN card yojana, the government will get easy access to workers of the state. So whenever the central government wants to make a plan, they already have the details of the concerned laborer so that they can make the plan easily and benefit it in the unorganized sector.
The Central Government or the State Government will also be able to send the amount directly to the laborer’s account at the time of need. And workers will be able to do any kind of registration. Recently the registered laborers were given Coronavirus Aid.

Eligibility criteria for the application for an NDUW card i.e. UAN card registration are as follows-

- An individual should not be a member of EPFO or ESIC

Various Schemes Under E-Shram Portal
Social Security Welfare Scheme
Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana- Through this scheme, a minimum pension of ₹ 3000 is provided to the beneficiary after the age of 60 years. If the beneficiary dies then 50% of the pension share is provided to the spouse of the beneficiary. The beneficiary will have to pay the premium which will be between ₹ 55 to ₹ 200 to get the benefits of the scheme.
National Pension Scheme for Shopkeepers, Traders, and Self Employed Person- Under this scheme a minimum pension of ₹ 3000 is provided to the beneficiary after the age of 60 years. To get the benefit of this scheme, the beneficiary has to pay a premium of ₹ 55 to ₹ 200. 50% of the premium amount is deposited by the beneficiary and 50% is borne by the central government.
Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana– This scheme is implemented by the Department of Financial Services. The benefit of this scheme is provided by the bank. On the death of the beneficiary due to any reason, ₹ 200000 is provided to the beneficiary’s nominee under this scheme. e shram card download
Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana– Under this scheme, if the beneficiary dies due to an accident or the beneficiary becomes completely disabled, then an amount of ₹ 200000 is provided, if the beneficiary is not completely disabled then ₹ 100000. Financial assistance is provided.
Atal Pension Yojana– Under this scheme, a pension of ₹ 1000 to ₹ 5000 is provided to the beneficiary. After the death of the beneficiary, their spout will get the benefits of the scheme.
PDS- 35 kg rice or wheat is supplied to the beneficiary per month through this scheme. 15 kg of food items are provided to the family living above the poverty line.
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin– The financial assistance of Rs 1.2 lakh is provided in the plain area and Rs 1.3 lakh in the hilly area for the construction of the house through this scheme.
National Social Assistant Program- This is a pension scheme. Under this scheme, a pension of ₹ 1000 to ₹ 3000 is provided. e shram login.
Ayushman Bharat Yojana– every family will get health insurance up to ₹ 500000 through this scheme without paying any premium.
Health Insurance Scheme for Weavers- Through this scheme Health insurance will be provided to the weavers.
National Safai Karamchari Finance and Development Corporation- Financial support will be provided to the Safai Karamcharis through this scheme.
Self Employment Scheme for Rehabilitation of Manual Scavengers- Through this scheme skill training will be provided to manual scavengers and their dependents free of cost. Apart from this, a stipend of ₹ 3000 will also be provided by the government.
