Eligibility Criteria:
Fulfilling eligibility conditions are the first step to applying for the IBPS PO jobs. There are three eligibility criteria for the IBPS PO Jobs post are Nationality Criteria, Age Criteria and Educational Qualification.
1. IBPS PO Nationality Criteria:
A candidate willing to apply for IBPS PO jobs must be from the following categories-
- Citizenship of India
- Subjects of Nepal or Bhutan
- Tibetan Refugee who arrived before January 1, 1962
- A person of Indian origin migrated from Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Burma(Myanmar), Vietnam or East African countries of the United Republic of Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Malawi, Zambia, Zaire or Ethiopia to permanently settle in India
The candidates who are not Indian citizens have to submit a certificate of eligibility from the Government of India during the Bank PO interview.
2. IBPS PO Age Criteria:
The age limit for the IBPS PO jobs post is 20-30 years.
A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-10-1991 and not later than 01-10-2001.
3. Educatinal Qualification:
The eligibility criteria for the IBPS PO exam is graduation. You cannot give bank exams after the 12th immediately. The minimum eligibility to get an IBPS PO job is graduation.
- A Graduate or Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
- The candidate must possess a valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he/she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
