ADR Institutions The following institutions administer ADR:
- Mediation and Arbitration Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of El Salvador
- Mediation and Arbitration Center of the Technological University of El Salvador
However, there is limited use of ADR due to a lack of knowledge and credibility of such mechanisms which has been attributed to a number of factors; the perception that such procedures can be manipulated, expense, the lack of publicity of such procedures, the fact that legislation on ADR is new as well as judicial fear of displacement by such mechanisms.
